With the advance features and machine functions here comes the advance issues within it. As while working with new technology there are various new set-ups and features in its processing which can’t be assessed by any common person and the problem increases more when any part gets damaged or malfunctions. In the educational institutes which are based on digital education, faces these malfunctioning in software commonly which a regular staff cannot repair or reset those technical issues other than only specialists. As IT has considered beneficial but many don’t know how to work with these new systems. This needs to be changed like people should be taught the importance and uses of IT in education. So that they learn it and improve the status of this tool in daily use.
Due to the increased uses of IT it’s easier now to open up and reach to the whole world through mass media and communication and vice-versa but for children at their early school age it is harmful and distracting. At the ages of learning and knowing new things it is harmful if they are open up to the various things on internet like crimes, terrorism and others. The social media is also another platform for distracting students. The daily interaction with social media attracts children attention towards themselves rather than towards studies which effects their productivity. Similar caused by the other entertainment sources like television, radio and others. So, children and student should be told about the harm of its excessive use and the use should be reduced. So that they can perform their best in studies without distractions.
Today most of the information are stored and kept stored online on different software with high security but it’s risk of hacking and scamming is still top on scales. Either big institutes or a small school all are worried regarding these risks. The increasing complexity in data storage in institutes and schools has now increased the demand of security as more data needs to be stored at save place which require high protection but the stable answer to these security issues is still not found. As with advance features in IT there are advance risks too, so, the advance hacking has always been a threat to the institutions.
With the advancement in technology and IT, the success of students is measured and compared to data system now. They demand better data storage and technology but not better brains. Likewise, now institute or company ask for a student to be better in technology field. The big companies are now recognising the student success with its support system. The criteria of job applicants have changed now which is not useful for today youth. As they request good root in IT fields which help their science and research to reach good heights but this has caused mass unemployment as companies started to produced artificial intelligence which can provide them with both technical advance brains and labours too. Like in education campuses also computers and AI has taken over the work and platform from humans.
Digitalization in institutes has been started in order to improve the results and productivity of students but it hit oppositely as digitalization might bring data analysis and other features in the institution which improves the staff work but has also brought distraction and its misuses (as discussed above). The new lab provides good faculties but demands good managing and IT workers to maintain but as a result lead to work overload and also cost to much.
The institutes and school delivering higher education by providing advance labs and technology faculties are leading the way to costly education. Information technology, as an important part of these institutes require high cost maintenance for these machines as because the software are critical and rear in use so repairing cost are high whereas for the workers working in these sectors demands market IT salaries for managing and repairing which also has high payrate as compare to other staffs and as a result this provided accommodation to students increases the annual institutional cost.
The increased used of IT in institutes and works also get outdated after several uses and that is solved by its timely updating. Updating enhance the productivity and work done more faster as compare to the old versions production but the again and again updating in short period of time results the more maintenance cost and required IT specialists which is little problematic after some time.
These advance machines and software require high maintenance which is normally costly but this isn’t as easy as it seems because these complex and always updating systems demands complex maintenance. From the very beginning of setting up these features to the very end of their regular managing software they needs information system specialists which are excellent in settling programming and analysing at low cost which is not easy to get. So their managing and maintenance is quite difficult and costly.
